KAYAK DIVING GEAR

MORE GEAR - MORE VARIETY - FASTER!

Diver Down Flag w/ Pole: The standard type of Dive Flag used in the USA.

14” X 18” Diver Down Flag w/ Pole - Flag is 14" x 18", nylon, with stiffener. Flag is red with white stripe, non-reflective, not suitable for night diving. Comes with 2-piece pole, 4 feet long when assembled. Pole has a tie for securing flag. For use with the STS Dive Flag Mount.

20” X 24” Diver Down Flag w/ Pole - New larger size for states with bigger flag requirements. Flag is 20" x 24", nylon, with stiffener. Flag is red with white stripe, non-reflective. Comes with 6 foot long 2-piece pole. Pole has a tie for securing flag. Can be used with the STS Dive Flag Mount.

Dive Flag Mount: Divers need to be seen; heck it's the law! Fly your dive flag high and proud while you are down below. Any one who Scuba dives snorkels, free dives or even for swimmers, should have a flag mounted securely to their kayak. Not only will a dive flag provide you with a safety zone around your kayak from power-boats, but you will not have misguided Samaritans towing your kayak away, as abandoned, while you are underwater. Dive flag and pole not included (see above). Fits most kayaks, satisfaction guaranteed.

TopKayaker.Net Anchor Kits: 2 sizes to choose from three pound and one & half pound. Three pound galvanized folding anchor, 70 feet of line (3/16 parachute cord), brass clip for bow attachment and comes in a durable case with plastic zipper, brass keeper clip, and grommet drain hole. Suitable for divers, fishing, snorkeling, swimming, resting and can accommodate several kayaks at a time. For use in 25 to 35 feet of water. Add more line for deeper depths. Related article: Outfitting Your Dive Kayak: Important Safety Tips & Anchoring Procedures One & a half pound - same features as above 3 lb anchor Also: It is not the size of the anchor that holds the boat. It is the length of the line. The longer the line, the better the hold. The line does not need to be thick rope or chain; it only has to be strong enough to handle the wind and currents. My advice: Both sizes are suitable for fishing and diving, the larger more suited for diving and multiple boats, while the smaller one for fishing and single boats. My suggestion for a rope “upgrade” would be ½ - ¼ inch hollow core braided polypro rope, yellow, available at many hardware stores in 100 foot lengths. Contact Tom for advice and about creating a loop at each end to fasten brass clips.

Alpha Dive Flag w/ Pole: The international code flag "A" used for diving. Some divers fly both Diver Down and Alpha flags at the same time.14" X 18" Alpha Flag w/ Pole $19.95 - Flag is 14" x 18", nylon, with stiffener (above right). Flag is blue and white, non-reflective, not suitable for night diving. Comes with 2-piece pole, 4 feet long when assembled. Pole has a tie for securing flag. For use with the STS Dive Flag Mount. 20" X 24" Alpha Flag w/ Pole $29.95 - New larger size for states with bigger flag requirements. Flag is 20" x 24", nylon, with stiffener. Flag is blue and white, non-reflective. Comes with 6 feet long 2-piece pole. Pole has a tie for securing flag. Can be used with the STS Dive Flag Mount.
